Sterling 10.25 / 10.5 Truss
The Sterling rear 10.25 and 10.5 axles have become the new standard rear axle swap for much of the industry to match the super duty 60 front axle. This axle has plenty of beef for the abuse we all like to throw at our rigs. In comes our offering for the ultimate rear common sense minded axle truss.
- Constructed entirely from 1/4" A572 plate (except for our exclusive weld perch system which is 3/16"), This truss has no flimsy parts like many of our competitors.
- Designed with competition use in mind, this truss gets as close to the brake brackets as possible to support and grab as much surface area as possible.
- Our unique weld perch system allows you to mock the truss in place, tack all six weld perches, remove the truss and fully weld the perches. Then allowing you to weld the truss to the perches and axle tube. This creates an internally structured truss system welded completely to six perches.
- Conveniently designed for axle straps to pass-thru perches for securing to your trailer.
- The top structure extends over the differential for increased upper link surface area for welding, allowing for a 1/2" thick platform. This creates an unmatched amount of beef for your upper link mounts so you can throw all the abuse at it you want without worry.
- This kit also comes with wide end mount coil-over brackets and slide-locating coil mounts with retaining rings for coil springs. Designed for a 5" flat top and bottom. Rubber Isolator kits can available.
- The truss is also fully formed in almost all components, so it is structurally sound at every weld without requiring excessive welding of a bunch of flat parts, unlike most other trusses.
